Melanie DiPiero was born in New Jersey. Her mother is a human resources representative and her father is a teacher.  She has one younger sister.  She is mostly of German, Irish, Scottish, English and French ancestry.

She attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and earned her B.A. degree in 2003.  She majored in Theatre Arts and minored in English.  She continued her acting training with Nancy Mayans, studied at the William Esper Studios,  Michael Howard Studios and completed long form improv training at the Upright Citizens Brigade. She’s done various work ranging from commercials, industrials, TV, films, theatre and performed with an improv team called Contagious in NYC.

She’s married with two children.
