Flex Alexander

 

Bronx born and raised, Flex got his in entertainment as a dancer and choreographer, working with the rap trio sensation Salt 'N Pepa as well as for recording artists such as Queen Latifah, Toni Tony Tone, Heavy D. & The Boys and Mary J. Blige. He also enjoyed a successful comedy career performing all over from the Uptown Comedy Club to Stand Up New York, The Improv, Laugh Factory, Showtime At the Apollo, The Comic Strip and many other clubs and universities around the country, before turning his attention to acting. 

 

Flex made his TV acting debut in the short-lived Fox series Where I Live. From there he began to make his career stand out featuring in episodes like Sister Sister, Moesha and the Parkers. He was nominated several times for an NAACP Image Award: two in 2005 for Outstanding Actor in a comedy series for One on One, and for Outstanding Actor in a Television Movie, Miniseries or Dramatic Special 2004’1 Man in the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story.

 

Flex has appeared in films like Money Train in 1995, City of Industry in 1997, The Sixth Man in 1997 and Out Cold in 2001. He is currently a Co-star on “Blue Bloods” with Donny Walberg. Flex resides in Los Angeles with his wife Shanice Wilson and family.
