Hip- hop phenom Chaz "Nino" Black began his career writing his own music at the age of twelve and hasn't stopped improving his skills since.  Largely influenced by his older brother, who had benn rapping and making music, Nino was introduced to some of hip hop's biggest stars of the time like Mobb Deep, Wu -Tang, and Nas.  He realized early on that success in the musicindusrty was attainable with the right resources and unstoppable drive.

 

Growing in popularity, at age 17 Nino's focus shifted from school work to music, making it his #1 priority. It wasn't til his final years of high school however, that he would begin turning his passion into a reality.  Armed with only a video game headset and a borrowed laptop, he rigged up a makeshift studio, recording in abandoned apartments or anywhere space permitted.  With his bare bones setup he would spend full days recording his self written songs and developing his presence on the microphone.

 

After graduating, Nino moved out own his , gaining some independence to further improve his craft.  He also took the opportunity to develop close and influential relationships along the way.  Devoted, determined and groomed for hard work, the talented performer has yet to reach the pinnacle of success, but at 22 years of age has accomplished quite a bit in his short tenure.  His latest achievements include sponsorship for clothing mogul Alfredo Versace and musical collaborations with great young talents such as Wiz khalifa and Meek Mill.  his future continues to broaden with scheduled perfomances opening for superstar artist Neyo, Ludacris and Alicia Keys in upcomimg months on a natiowide tour.

 

Confident but humble, Nino realizes that everyday is a  blessing and opportunity to evovle and progress.
